I never knew how easy it was to make my own salsa. I put salsa on almost everything. When I am at a Mexican restaurant and they bring out the chips and salsa, it sometimes replaces my meal because I eat so much of it because the salsa is so delicious. You can’t really buy that salsa flavor and texture in a jar and the only way is to make it from scratch. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do.

4 Tomatoes

1 Red Onion

3 Cloves of garlic

1 Jalapeno (or more to taste)

1 Bunch of Cilantro – stems and all

1 Fresh Lime Juice

1 T Cumin

2 tsp Salt

1 tsp Sugar

1 Small can of green chilis

15 oz of whole tomatoes

Cut tomatoes, onion and jalapenos into 1-2 inch pieces and place into the food processor. Add the garlic, cilantro and lime juice. Pulse until mostly combined. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until your desired texture.

It was that easy! Enjoy!
